Helen Naimark

Art has always been an extension of Helen Naimark’s life. It is an expression of her imagination.

Studies of design at Art Institute, Center for The Arts, Carnegie Museum, University of Pittsburgh, led to expanded studies with well-known Pittsburgh artists. Also worked in commercial and residential design for various clients in the United States and the Bahamas.

As a member of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Society of Artists, and Fiberarts Guild, her work has been shown in various venues and galleries.

Helen tries to express insights into her work using raw pieces and layers of materials into their final stages. The experimentation of materials is like discovering a new world transforming mundane into unique. She has also worked with recycled metals – designing her own line of jewelry.

Experimental art is exploring more creative ways of expression…through layered papers,
various mediums, and textures. Making these pieces keeps her energy alive in the work.
