Mary Hamilton


Mary Hamilton, member of Associated artists of Pittsburgh, and Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh is best known as a printmaker employing the reduction linoleum block process. An exhibitor in national and regional shows since 1972, her work is in many
important public and private collections. Educated at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania and Tyler School of Art of Temple University and in Rome, Italy, she lives and works in rural Clarion
County north of Pittsburgh. Inspirations are: her dogs (Xena, the
Belgian Sheepdog and Bindi, the Collie), nature, myth, the magic which surrounds us, and the art and culture of Italy.
