Richard Seech

Richard Seech is a retired art teacher. In his artwork, he examines environments both urban and natural. He is interested in the intersection between place-city and nature and his work celebrates the interplay of past and present, imagined and tangible, that which is lost and what remains. Seech embraces the unpredictable and experimental nature of combining materials and thrives on the unfamiliarity of what becomes of that chemistry. This creates images that hover between recognition and suggestion. He communicates this through movement and energy where the work takes on a life of its own.
