Artist

I am an artist, a theoretical physicist, a recreational poet, a top mediocre tennis player, among other less distinguished attributes. My artistic side is barely on speaking terms with my scientific side. They had a falling out years ago though they occasionally consult through the corpus callosum. My work is inspired by Expressionism, Surrealism, Narcissism, Cynicism, Agnosticism, along with a few more isms, as well as just plain old life. I spend a lot of time grappling with (usually in vain) and awestruck by the mysteries and beauty of the Universe, microscopically, astronomically and biologically. Likewise, in my art, I aim for beauty and mystery, occasionally hitting the target. I try to bypass the rational part of my brain, often with the help of music.
